Laurels for Lutz
California junior Leigh Ann Lutz was named the Tri-County Conference Most
Valuable Player in a voting by the conference coaches.
Lutz was one of nine unanimous selections on the first team. She was
joined by teammates Spenser Deeken, also a unanimous pick, and Amanda Leibel
on the first team.
Other unanimous selections were Lauren Rackers and Shantae Duren, Blair
Oaks; Kelsi Mueller, Eldon; Rachel Reis and Ciarra Vaughn, School of the
Osage; Raven Wood, Versailles; and Haeley Kreisel, Warsaw. California’s
Bobby Sangster was named the conference Coach of the Year to give California
a sweep of individual honors. Here is the girls all-Tri-County conference
team:
